London 2012 Olympics Torch arrives Nigeria

London 2012 Olympics Touch arrives Nigeria as a part of the countdown to the London 2012 Games.

Speaking at the event in Abuja, the Deputy British High Commissioner Mr. Giles Lever stressed that the Olympics torch represented peace wherever it goes.

He said it symbolised the facility of sports to beat divisions between countries and religions and to bind all along in celebration of hope and an honest competition.

Lever added that the binding plan originated in Greece to suspend wars throughout the Olympic Games.

During the amount of the Olympics, all wars and hostilities are going to be suspended; athletes are going to be liberated to travel from totally different territories to return to the games and compete in peace.
