Football super-agent, Mino Raiola ‘undergoes emergency surgery’ in Italy

Football super-agent, Mino Raiola has undergone emergency surgery after he was admitted to a hospital in Italy.  

The 54-year-old, who represents some of the top football stars in the World top, including Paul Pogba and Erling Haaland, went under the knife in Milan and has been placed under observation.  

According to Ansa and ‘Gazzetta dello Sport’, Raiola was hospitalized at San Raffaele underwent a very delicate surgery on Wednesday morning.

News of his hospitalization came as a shock to his players and arrived without warning.

The nature of his illness or surgery is not yet known but he is anticipated to remain in the hospital for the time being.  

Raiola is one of the richest footballers in the world. Last year, Forbes claimed he was worth £62m and his personal fortune is only set to rise with the top young players set to move to new clubs.
