Nigerian singer, Portable, has challenged operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency NDLEA over the recent arrests of some of his colleagues.
The agency have in recent times invaded the homes of some entertainers and arrested them over drug-related issues.
In the early hours of today, NDLEA operatives in Lagos invaded the home of singers Zinoleesky and Mohbad and arrested them.
In a video posted on his Instastories, Portable asked if they shouldn’t smoke weed in their homes again. Speaking in Yoruba, he said
”Should we not smoke weed in our Daddy’s house again? Are you the ones that built our house for us? Are you the one that bought land for us? Are you the ones that paid for our foundation? Are you the ones who bought cement for us? What is it? Everybody should mind their house o! If you near my side, you go collect! I should not smoke weed in my Daddy’s house? We would beat ourselves to death”
