The Ekiti State Government has named and shamed a 44-year-old man, Usman Tajudeen, who is serving a life sentence at the Nigeria Correctional Centre, Ado Ekiti, for raping a 4-year-old girl.

The convict, who was arraigned before Justice Lekan Ogunmoye on a one-count charge of rape, reportedly committed the offence on August 21, 2020 at Ikere Ekiti.

He was sentenced by Ekiti State High Court sitting in Ado-Ekiti, last week.

A public notice posted by the Ekiti State Ministry of Justice said the convict has been registered in the sex offenders’ register.
