The Columbia University Humanity in Action Fellowships is aimed at uniting international students to examine important global challenges. For the academic year 2023–2024, applications are now being accepted.

English proficiency is required of applicants for the Columbia University Humanity in Action Fellowships program. This fellowship is open to undergraduate students from chosen nations who are majoring in STEM, the humanities, arts, architecture, or social sciences. The five-week program’s participation costs and lodging are covered by the fellowship award. The tuition costs for all qualified students will be covered by this award.

Eligibility

  1. Students from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, France, Greece, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Ukraine, and the United States are eligible to apply.

  • The candidates must be enrolled full-time as sophomores, juniors, or seniors at the time of application.
  • The candidates must submit their requests from one of the places that qualify.

  3. individual essay
  4. Information from my own life
  5. a student’s accomplishments, activities, jobs, and summertime activities listed and described
  • Entry requirements: At the time of application, the applicants must submit all required documentation.
  • Language prerequisite: The following English language proficiency exam results must be submitted by the students:
