Three arrested with fresh human head in Gombe

Three men were arrested in Gombe State with a human head.
The Gombe State Police Command paraded the suspects yesterday, March 31, and revealed that they were arrested on Wednesday, March 30.
The suspects, Yale Saleh (27), Baba Muhammadu (24) and Aminu Salisu (22), all of Dinawa village in Kwami Local Government Area, were paraded at the command’s headquarters over criminal conspiracy and unlawful possession of a human head.
The commissioner of police, Ishola Babaita, said preliminary investigation revealed that the three dug a grave in the night and cut off the head of a male deceased who was buried on Monday morning, March 28, at the Dinawa village cemetery.
He said the suspects also confessed that they initially dug the grave of a woman at the same Dinawa village cemetery and cut off her head.
CP Babaita added that efforts are being made to recover the second head.
