Gov. Otti signs 2025 appropriation bill into law

Governor Alex Otti has signed the 2025 appropriation bill into law.

The ceremony took place on Friday 27th of December at his country home.

The 2025 budget bill which he earlier presented to the Abia state house of Assembly on Tuesday 10th of December for consideration was tagged “budget of sustained momentum” and had a total proposed sum of Seven hundred and fifty billion, two hundred and eighty two million, two hundred thousand naira only (N750, 282, 200, 000.00) for the 2025 fiscal year.

Some members of the state house of assembly including speaker Rt. Hon. Austin Nmeregini and the deputy speaker witnessed the signing into law of the 2025 budget by Gov. Otti.
