Brief Description Of The Illinois Wesleyan University International Students Scholarship:

The Illinois Wesleyan University (IWU) offers three categories of scholarships to international students applying to be admitted into their first year of Bachelors programs.

They are:

• (1) Merit-Based Scholarship
• (2) President’s Scholarships
• (3) Need-Based Financial Aid

In addition, the international students who are applying for the merit-based scholarships may be eligible for IWU-funded scholarships, loans, and campus employment opportunities.

Number Of Scholarships:

There are two Presidents Scholarships available for intending applicants.

Target Group:

The Illinois Wesleyan University International Students Scholarships are targeted at international students from all over the world. There is no particular preference for region or culture.

Scholarship Value/Inclusions:

1. Merit-Based Scholarships: These sets of awards range from US$16,000 to US$30,000 per annum (year), and are renewable for up to 4 years.  

2. President’s Scholarships: These scholarships are a complete package. They are full-tuition scholarships and are also renewable for up to 4 years.

Eligibility:

Merit-Based Scholarships: The applicants for this category of scholarship must be international students who possess outstanding academic performance and achievements. Their test scores on the required entrance exams must be excellent.

Presidents’ Scholarships: The applicants for this award must be highly qualified international students based on their interests, talents, and academic accomplishments.

Additional Financial Aid Opportunities:

International who are seeking additional financial aid as part of the Illinois Wesleyan University International Students Scholarship, are welcome to submit the CSS PROFILE to be considered for additional financial support from Illinois Wesleyan University (IWU). The CSS PROFILE offers you a chance to provide a detailed analysis of your financial resources. In addition to the Merit-Scholarships mentioned above, international students may be eligible for IWU-funded scholarships, loans, and campus-employment opportunities for additional financial support which are renewable for up to four (4) years.

The Deadline for the CSS PROFILE application is the 1st Of March (Annually)
