Governor Otti Attends Thanksgiving Mass Of Late Dr. Pascal G. Dozie

‎Abia State Governor Dr. Alex Otti has attended the Thanksgiving Mass and Outing Service with the family of late Dr. Pascal G. Dozie at St. Phillip and James Catholic Church, Egbu, Imo State.

‎The Late Dr. Pascal Dozie, whose passing occurred on the 8th of April 2025, at the age of 85, was the pioneer Chairman of MTN Nigeria and the founder of the defunct Diamond Bank PLC, which Governor Otti in his previous life as a banker led to enviable height as one of the most innovative financial institutions as the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (GMD/CEO) before he voluntarily resigned to lead the liberation of Abia State from bad governance.

‎Late Dr. Dozie was buried on Friday, May 2, 2025.

‎The Governor was accompanied to the solemn event by Engr. Ikechukwu Monday – the Honourable Commissioner for Power and Public Utilities, Chief Green Amankwe – Special Adviser on Public Private Partnership and Investment Promotion, and Mr. Ferdinand Ekeoma, Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, among other aides.
