2027: APC will win in Abia and Federal, Tinubu deserves a second term – Sam Onuigbo

The All Progressives Congress APC in Abia state has expressed optimism that based on the achievements of President Bola Tinubu just two years into his first tenure, come 2027, the APC would win in Abia and at the Federal level.

This was made known at the APC LGA Ikwuano stakeholders’ meeting in conjunction with the Renewed Hope Partners Ikwuano which saw the presence of critical stakeholders in the party including APC Abia State Chairman Kingsley Ononugbo represented by the State Secretary Chidi Avaja, the former Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency Chief Sam Onuigbo, Chief Chinedum Kanu, former two-time TC Chairman for Ikwuano LGA Major Ako Awa, three-time Member and a former Majority Leader, Abia State House of Assembly Hon Wisdom Ogbonna, former House of Assembly Candidate and a philanthropist Chief Paul Nwachukwu, Former Senior Special Assistant to former Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and also former Education Secretary, Ikwuano LGA Lady Chinyere Ehilegbu, amongst others.

Speaking at the event, Onuigbo who is representing the Southeast on the Board of the North East Development Commission, said the essence of the meeting was for the stakeholders to receive orientation on the need to spread the message of Tinubu’s achievements far and wide, adding that the President has done exceedingly well hence deserves a second term.

The former Rep member expressed optimism that the APC would emerge victorious in 2027 both in Abia and the Federal stressing the President deserves a pat in the back for his developmental strides at the federal and the state especially as he has increased astronomically the allocation going to the governors since he took over in 2023.

The APC State Chairman Ononugbo while speaking, stressed that the time for disunity and sabotage was over in Abia APC as he called for oneness of purpose to help give the party victory in the state and federal come 2027.
