Gov. Otti inaugurates ABSU Governing Council, tasks members on transformative drive

Abia state governor Dr. Alex Otti has inaugurated the governing council of Abia state university ABSU.

This follows the conclusion and submission of a report by the visitation panel which was set up by the state government last year.

Governor Otti charged the governing council to follow the vision of his administration in being transformative while working to improve the status of the state university.

Chairman of the newly inaugurated Abia state university governing council, Agwu U. Agwu in his vote of thanks, pledged that the council will work assiduously to make the university the best in Nigeria and beyond.

The governing council is made up of 18 members including the Chancellor Mrs Chinyere Ifejika, Pro Chancellor and Chairman of Council RT Hon. Agwu U Agwu, Vice chancellor Oke Udoh amongst others.
